HCA Healthcare is an American for-profit operator of healthcare facilities that was founded in 1968. It is based in Nashville, Tennessee and, as of May 2020, owns and operates 186 hospitals and approximately 2,000 sites of care, including surgery centers, freestanding emergency rooms, urgent care centers and physician clinics in 21 states and the United Kingdom. By conducting large-scale clinical research with partners including the Harvard Pilgrim Institute and the CDC, and using data gathered from their patients, HCA Healthcare has published several medical studies in peer-reviewed journals, including the REDUCE MRSA study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

It was like being in high school people talk about you behind your back. Management is horrible, they appear to have ur back but will talk to other managers about you when ur not around. Pay is terrible even when you have tons of experience in your field. Look for other places to work you will not be happy here trust me."

Employees are overworked and expected to do the job of 3 people.... RUN! As fast as you can!! This company will run you into the ground while they sit in their office and not help at all! "I wasted 5 years in this so-called Healthcare. They claimed the pay for 6 holidays, but in reality, they pay you with your own PTO. expensive med insurance, treating employees as disposable garbage. Turnover rate is off the charts. Management does not care about staff or patients. Patient care is horrible and unsafe due to the severe understaffing. Beware of discrimination and harrasment that corporate does nothing about. Do not waste your love for patients there. Find better place. Cons: Harrasment, vindication towards wistleblowers, low pay, bad benefits."

In family practice setting, management is unstable, there's a lack of communication, no consistency, favoritism, and the list goes on. Going to ethnics is a joke or up chain of command if there's a problem. However, I love the aspects of my job (CCMA) but I don't like the environment and the company I work for. If your mentally strong enough, you can manage."

Many of the directors will talk down to you simply because they can. The wages will never be fair, they will take any opportunity to write you up as an employee. Your fellow employees will take any chance to stab you in the back in an attempt to get on managements good side."

"If I could give zero stars I would. This company prides itself on ‘being family’ while immediately turning around and abusing employees. Managers force you to travel to different locations ever shift, your pay doesn’t reflect the amount of work or travel related to your job, there is no support when dealing with irate customers (or abusive staff) and they were quick to screw their employees as soon as Covid started. Not to mention their lack of care for both employee and public health, they just want the money and they will be sure to get as much as they can out of every single patient it’s disgusting"

"I worked at a Service Center which is controlled by HCA IT. Getting anything remotely helpful from corporate is impossible. It is usually demands or changes you have to make within a short time frame. They are always looking to cut costs and does not matter who has to pay the price in lost productivity and headaches. I would rather work for McDonalds. We get 2% raises every year for the past ten years. HCA is doing great, btw. Trump tax cuts and stock is sky rocketing. But, you could not tell that from the penny pinching HCA management. They totally suck!!!"

"HCA is a for profit organization designed to rape our healthcare system, providers of care, and patients. They continuously propagandize about caring for patients, providing amazing care, etc when their only true value is returning value to shareholders. They have absolutely unsafe nursing ratios in their ERs, and threaten nurses and doctors who complain about them with termination, I have multiple documents where we were made to sign stating we would not complain about working conditions. While I have worked at centennial medical center ER, I have never seen such a revolving door of unhappy, depressed, used up, and burnt out nurses. They treated them like cannon fodder. No support from administration. Their safety is not valued, their license unvalued. They wanted to get nurses form the Philippines in order to not give them a raise. Physicians are treated like data entry widgets, devalued, and forces to provide customer like you work at chick fil a to the customer. They wanted us to say “my pleasure” like a good service worker in an ER, narcotic overuse was encouraged as to satisfy the customer. It’s abhorrent, and a horrible conflict of interest that these businessmen are being allowed to train nurses and doctors. Horrible, Horrible culture, horrible ethics. Stay away For the sake of medicine and nursing, do NOT work for these evil assholes. They have too much power. Their business department is all that matters. Clinical staff are treated like absolute garbage. Boycott this wall street owned evil for profit entity. "
